This progressive 6 session course will introduce you to all of the novice life skills that every dog needs. Perfect for dogs who have completed the Foundation Life Skills Course. The course will cover: Handling Motivation Polite greetings Breed specific games Stopping unwanted behaviours Long line use Sit / stay Recall Loose lead walking / heelwork Leave It Drop It This is the perfect way for adolescent dogs to expand their learning on the skills needed for everyday life. Includes completion pack from Riverside Animal Supplies. After booking you will receive a Handbook with detailed information about the course including equipment list, location, etc. This is the perfect course for you if: • You have completed the Foundation Life Skills Course. • You want to continue teaching important skills. • You want to have fun with your dog. • You want to train your dog in a safe, inclusive environment. • You want honest advice and help with your dog. Requirements for the Novice Life Skills Course: Dog age: 5 months plus. Dog training level: recommend having done the Foundation Life Skills Course (or similar puppy course). Aggression: aggressive / reactive dogs not allowed. Noise: dog should not be noisy (barking / whining) in a group environment. Medical: dogs with injuries / illnesses or those in season should not attend. Client status: new clients welcome. If you are unsure on suitability please get in touch and I can advise. Cancellation Policy
We are dedicated to maintaining small classes with plenty of one-on-one interaction, and cancellations change the dynamic of the already small group. As such, we are not able to accommodate cancellations and refunds for courses and classes. All courses and classes are non-refundable after booking. Should you need to cancel your place, we will do our best to find someone else to take your place. If your place is filled by someone else a refund will be provided. If your place is not filled no refund will be provided. Non-attendance of the course or class will not be refunded. Missed sessions during a course will not be refunded. Full payment must be made to secure your booking. If payment is not made within 7 days of the start of the first session, your place on the course may be revoked. We appreciate your cooperation to help keep our classes effective for you and other clients.
