Service Description
This progressive 6 session course will introduce you to all of the foundations of gundog training. The course sessions are every two weeks so that you have plenty of time to practice each new element before the next session. This helps you really absorb and practice the learning before moving on to the next steps. The course will cover: Recall Heelwork Sit Whistle commands Steadiness Hunting Retrieving. This is the perfect way for complete beginners to try gundog training and learn new skills. Also suitable for people more experienced in gundog training but bringing on a young dog. Requirements for the course: Dogs must be six months plus in age. Dogs must not be aggressive. Dogs must not be extremely noisy. If you think your dog may bark or whine, please contact me as we can help fix this before bringing them into a group environment. If you are unsure on suitability please get in touch and I can advise. After booking you will receive a Handbook with detailed information about the course including equipment list, location, etc.
Cancellation Policy
We are dedicated to maintaining small classes with plenty of one-on-one interaction, so we are not able to accommodate cancellations. Cancellations with less than a weeks’ notice will not be refunded, and non-attendance will not be refunded, so please plan carefully. With any less notice, we may struggle to fill the space and that changes the dynamic of the already small group. We appreciate your cooperation to help keep our classes small and effective for you. Photos may be taken of group classes and published to social media - please contact Sarah if you would prefer not to be photographed.
